Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the event was conducted virtually using Zoom.
The event consisted of one main session followed by three consecutive workshops. Chaired jointly by DPER and the DES, the purpose of the main session was to inform participants of the EU proposals for 2021- 2027 and the preparation process in Ireland so far.
The workshops sought views on how needs at a national and regional level can be best addressed by the Funds and aimed to identify the priorities for investment and highlight potential projects/activities.
Breakout sessions were organised on a regional basis and included a focus on the main priorities of the individual Regional Spatial & Economic Strategies (RSES).
